OFF THE HILL FOR 2 WEEKS - CONGRESS AND ME

Well, neither is the war on Iraq stopped nor is the bombing of Iran prevented; so neither am I done on the Hill. However, per plan the 20 Day Hunger Strike ended yesterday with the departure of the Congressfolks from the Hill for 2 weeks.

I expect to regain strength away from the Hill and return to the Hill when they do in early June. I expect to resume 24 hour/day occupation of the Hill weekdays, and accept refuge weekends if available so I can complete some computer intensive work, and rest.

I expect to resume Hunger Strike the end of June with a target of 40 days this time so that Congress has something worthy of pondering when they go off on their August vacations.

Off the Hill a 2nd Day with high wind and rain forcast

Tuesday AM return expected.

Saturday, May 10, 2008

1 Day off the Hill. Monday Return expected.

After days of rain I've accepted refuge for a day indoors. With another 14 days of Hunger Strike ahead in May, and 54 days of Hunger Strike planned by the end of July this seems prudent to take a day of rest inside.

Tomorrow morning, Monday I expect to be on the Hill 24/7 waging another 20 day Hunger Strike within inches of where the Congressfolks walk to and from the Capitol multiple times per day with 2'x3' signs of mutilated children reading "Stop Your War," "Hunger Strike," and "Wage Love - End HATEfulness."
